Teacher Assistants
Fort Edward Site
Monday - Friday; 8:15 a.m. – 1:45 p.m.
School year and six-week summer program.
Integrated and self-contained preschool classrooms, ages 3-5.
Minimum requirement - High School diploma or equivalent.
Rate of pay is based on experience and education.

Some responsibilities include:
Supporting the classroom teacher in carrying out the daily routine
Assisting the classroom teacher in implementing the planned daily activities while maintaining a safe and
healthy environment.
Data collection for student’s goals under the guidance of the classroom teacher.
Classrooms follow the standards for New York State Next Generation Learning Standards.
