Experienced Medical Biller (Clinic); Temp to Hire

Our client, an established neurosurgical clinic in the Raleigh area, is currently recruiting for a highly skilled Medical Billing Specialist to join its team. We seek a self-directed professional who can hit the ground running.

Duties will include:

insurance verifications

prior authorizations

accurately posting insurance and patient payments

entering charges into the system

researching and resolving patient billing errors

working patient accounts and balances for collections

handling patient inquiries regarding balances and setting up payment plans

Important skills/experiences include:

2+ years of medical billing experience in a medical practice is required

Proficiency and experience with Epic software is required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Longevity in work history – the client seeks a candidate who has a track record of successful progression in employment

The pay is $15-20/hr to start (depending on experience). Set working hours are Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm.
