About our Material Handler Position…

Receive and inspect incoming freight

Distribute materials to appropriate location with attention to the use of space, consolidation & inventory accuracy

Pick & Pack orders shipped via UPS and Motor Freight

Communicate with shipping and manufacturing teams to determine priority orders

Pull orders from inventory and load skids

Double check orders for accuracy

Package orders based on the requirements of UPS & Motor Freight

Build customized skids to accommodate special orders

Package orders properly to minimize damage

Positive: Brings a positive can-do attitude with a desire to learn

Active: This is a job for someone who likes to be on the move – walking, standing, lifting 50+lbs, operating a forklift & pallet jack, etc.

Accurate: Correctly pick customer orders with minimal mistakes. Can receive and distribute orders with attention to details such as defective products, incorrect orders, etc.

Efficient: Quickly pull and pack orders with an awareness of deadlines and priorities.

Reliable: Willing to work a consistent first shift schedule that may include some overtime during the busy months.

Curious: Desire to be part of a team with a Lean manufacturing mindset that has us always asking, “How can we do this just a little bit better?” You won’t hear us say “Well, this is how we’ve always done it.”

Team Player: Humble enough to admit mistakes. Drive to do great work. Able to build relationships and communicate effectively with teammates.

Experienced: Previous experience in shipping/receiving is a plus, but not required.
