Install Technician I (IT/Networking/CCTV/DirecTV/PBX

We are a growing force within the Hospitality I.T. industry, and are looking for install technicians who are ready to travel (flying or driving) to hotels all over the US, and perform installs of the 4 main products/solutions we sell hotels: DirecTV, Security Cameras, Mitel/ComXchange PBX systems, and Guest Wi-Fi. Opportunities for advancement abound.

Title: Install Technician I

Requirements:

- at least 1 year of experience installing/troubleshooting PBX systems, NVR/Security Cameras, DirecTV, and/or wireless networking.

- 21 years of age (required for renting cars)

- Clean driving record w/valid driver's license

- Must be willing to travel on a weekly basis to job sites all over the country, Monday-Friday (40-48 weeks of travel per year)

Qualifications/Skills:

- Networking and configuring network switches; an understanding of WLANs/VLANs

- Cat6 termination, testing, labeling

- Understanding of cabling color codes and termination/troubleshooting of both ethernet and coaxial cabling

- Presentable and Professional in front of customers

- Written and Verbal skills

- Ability to communicate with a large amount of people/departments/groups over email promptly, accurately, and frequently (this includes having emailing etiquette/professionalism)

any experience using DTV/RF meters is a plus

Compensation and Benefits:

Hourly Wage DOE with plenty of OT typically available Travel, Lodging, and Per Diem provided for all travel days Hourly wage paid during all travel time
