Founded by EP experts committed to investing in Wyoming-based oil and gas assets, “RWW” is a strategic mineral and royalty acquisition company seeking new title landmen for in-house positions. RWW is looking for motivated and driven individuals with efficient attention to detail and a desire apply their skills fundamental to researching the ownership of minerals. Ideal candidates possess a bachelor's degree in petroleum land management (or similar), or have 2+ years experience running title in the Rockies. Candidates must have a keen ability to pick up and utilize new title software. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to further a career in oil and gas.

Job Duties:

  • Research county records to determine surface and mineral ownership by utilizing online databases of documents recorded within a given county;

  • Build the Company's title database through the utilization of its title software; analyze and interpret relevant documents to "chain" title within a full section of land from patent to present;

  • Participate in high-pressure and sometimes lengthy due diligence projects where landmen are accountable for the identification and flagging of potential title defects for further review by in-house experts/outside counsel;

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Wyoming’s evolving title statues and provisions that may impact the treatment of certain title issues;

Compensation: Commensurate with experience; salary, full benefits, and performance incentives.

Location: Position will be based out of Company’s headquarters in Sheridan, WY.

Required Competencies:

  • Associates degree or higher (waived with applicable experience);

  • Ability to meet specific deadlines, daily and weekly, based on changing company needs;

  • Detail-oriented and process-driven; adept at the learning and application of new software technologies;

  • Excellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills and experience working with a broad range of people;

  • A high degree of initiative, self-motivation, accountability and independent judgment;

  • Energetic, empowers others, and shares ownership and accountability for project outcomes;

  • Focus on priorities, setting objectives and goals, measuring performance and evaluating results;

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; specifically, Excel and Word
