Haas Lake Park RV Campground is accepting applications for the position of Administrative Assistant/Buyer. Position is full time Tuesday - Saturday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. Hours are 35-40 per week with possible overtime.
Principal duties and responsibilities:
Bookkeeping:
Review and process bills
Analyze bookkeeping documents for accuracy
Reconcile bank account
Complete month end bookkeeping reports
Process time sheets and prepare payroll (via on-line payroll company)
Comply with federal, state and local government requirements
Maintain financial records electronically and/or with hard copy
Prepare daily bank deposits (Front Office and General Store)
File monthly sales tax electronically
Assist with year end tax filing
Administrative:
Maintain employee files and related materials
Assist staff with payroll matters
Oversee specific administrative projects
Perform daily audit (reservation software)
Perform new hire orientation
Buyer:
Maintaining products on shelves for the office store and general store
Place orders with vendors for start of season and throughout the season
Conduct weekly shopping, pricing, stocking, and inventory control (company vehicle available)
Rotating stock to ensure product freshness and safety standards
Prepare year end final inventory report
Ordering products for campground events
Involvement in campground events
