Helpdesk Technician Location: Troy, MI Duration: Contract Kelly Technology is currently recruiting for a Helpdesk Technician to provide helpdesk support and resolve technical issues. The ideal candidate will be a tenured desktop support tech that can fix Outlook issues, printer issues, restart the server, manage Active Directory, and random IT needs in a manufacturing environment. Primary Duties: - Provide helpdesk support and resolve technical issues to the end user's satisfaction. - Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to support request received through the IT helpdesk ticketing system. - Monitor service desk for open and unassigned tickets, making sure they are assigned to the appropriate queue and resolved based on priority. - Create, disable, and reset passwords for Active Directory accounts. - Add network printers, map network drives, install software on workstations. - Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the local workstation and/or phones. - Assist with creating documentation for end users and IT team. - Assist with onboarding of new users. - Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software. - Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses. - Report issues to the Systems Administrator or department manager for escalation. - Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required. - Ensure that the helpdesk services meet the set KPis and SLAs.Skills: - High school diploma or equivalent with two years of relevant technical experience. - Experience with iBM AS400 ERP Systems (nice to have) - Experience with Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Suite applications. - Knowledge and skills in troubleshooting.
