Senior System Analyst / System Analyst- Active Secret clearance- Albany, GeorgiaWe are looking for a Senior System Analyst/System Analyst to support a DOD logistics environment. The System Analyst will provide support and analysis on matters of business and investment, Internal and External to MC’s logistic command, associated with logistics operations to include but not limited to, Requirements, Logistics, Financial Management Analysis, Systems Engineering, Business Process Improvement, Joint Matters and Emerging Technology evaluations.

Please note during COVID this position will be remote.

Responsibilities for this role include: The System Analyst shall be knowledgeable of Department of Defense (DoD), Navy and MC logistics policy and processes, and shall be familiar with existing logistics information systems supporting the MC’s logistics business processes. Candidate shall understand fully and be able to articulate Marine Corps logistics processes, functions and operations with an emphasis on supply, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance. As such, a working knowledge shall include a minimum of the following:
  • System Analysis experience
  • Structured Query Language (SQL)
  • Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
  • COGNOS
  • DOD/Navy/USMC supply, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance systems
  • DOD/Navy/USMC transportation claims processing, certification and entitlement calculations and disbursing
  • Ability to interpret financial standards, regulations, and guidelines
  • IT enablers hosted on mid-tier and mainframe platforms.

  • Supply Management Activity Group
  • Depot Maintenance Activity Group
Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • 3-5 years Systems Analyst experience preferably DOD logistics environment
  • Active Secret Clearance
