Role: Business Analyst- Capital Markets (Derivative Products)

Work Location: Charlotte, NC

Duration: Long Term Project

Role and Responsibilities:• Overall 8+ years of experience as business analyst.• Responsible for providing business analysis expertise for technology initiatives in support of a business desk and/or systems application(s).• Act as a liaison between the business and technology teams to interpret and develop requirements for business problems and recommend applications development / enhancement solutions.• Knowledge to conduct detailed analysis in response to business &technology requests to develop efficient and accurate functional requirements.• Coordinate communication and information flow between business and technology teams.• Create and maintain project / systems documentation and proactively monitor & manage project schedules and deliverables.• Work with business users to develop and provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs and recommend changes.

Skills Required:
  • Good Knowledge about derivative products. Should be able to talk and explain them.
  • Fluent in Swaps, options, futures, forwards (at least couple of them), derivatives pricing/valuation, CVA/DVA, VaR, PFE, CCAR, Reg Reporting, SDR, Dodd-Frank, PnL attribution, trade lifecycle.
  • Pricing of these products and how it works like key attributes going in a pricing engine.
  • Detailed knowledge about Risk and how it apply in different products.
  • Technical knowledge on how to deploy code, and write and execute SQL queries.
  • Person from IT background and not from Middle office or Trading desk
