Description Robert Half Technology has joined forces with a company in the Service industry to fill a .Net Developer role. They need a master of software and applications programming and industry requirements to create and define systems scope and objectives. Through research and fact-finding, you will make recommendations for developing or modifying applications or databases. - Provides continuing support for end users and other partner groups through continuing training and assistance for a specific application, system or process
- Analyzes and documents issues. Works with other programmers to correct code problems
- Helps create communication content for certain system changes being implemented in production
- Analyzes user requests for systems changes or improvements. Documents functional requirements and assesses cost, feasibility and utility. Develops recommendation as to how, when or whether to proceed with making the changes
- Create and test programming changes for every systems development phase prior to implementation. Write test cases and expected outcomes. Review results and verify that requirements are met. May develop simple tests or a defined subset of larger tests. May recommend acceptance/rejection if requirements are not all met
- Reviews methods of processing and recommends improvements
- Serves as the in-house guide for internal clients experiencing programming problems, consulting on applications, systems and/or processes for identifying and resolving, processing/reporting the issues. Consultation can include troubleshooting and/or education
- Builds dictionaries for applications and systems support by the analyst, and ensures they are up to date
- Resourceful project management background
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in PC and mainframe hardware/software
- Previous experience as a project leader for the business portion of developmental applications or major systems improvements
- Visual Studio experience
- Object Oriented Development experience preferred
- Microsoft SQL Server experience highly desired
- Comprehensive knowledge of C#
- Knowledge of .NET Framework
- Programming language knowledge require
