Project Description:We are looking for a Senior Developer in Tampa (Florida) for a large scale distributed project for our global financial institutional client.The project is focused on developing margin risks calculation platform for different asset classes of derivatives as well as covering OTC market. This is an opportunity to join a team which works directly with business desks within the organization on a daily basis in agile-like style.Project Teams are distributed cross different locations worldwide (Tampa, New York, Shanghai) to support business 24x7.Project is based on Java technology stack (Java 8+/Spring), Oracle database with target Linux deployment environment(cloud based) and with the focus on support of fully automated QA and development pipelines (high available and low touch system).Responsibilities:- Design and development of software components working in a group or on your own;- Unit and Integration testing;- Continuous Integration of program components;- Evaluation and recomendatation for new technologies and updating versions of existing ones.Mandatory Skills Description:- 3+ years of working on enterprise projects with hands-on experience in software development using Java technology stack and Oracle database;- Experience in working on full SDLC projects in Financial services organizations;- Good verbal and written communication skills; upper-intermediate English;- Ability to think clearly, get to the bottom of things in solving technical issues;- Analytical skills;- Positive attitude and high stress tolerance;Nice-to-Have Skills:- Apache Kafka, Hive, Flume experience;- Degree in Computer Science; or in math or physics is a plus;- Knowledge of financial domain, preferable areas are margin trading applications, margin risk management is a big plus;
