Structural Steel Detailer / Engineering Dept.

Structural Steel Detailer for a local Steel Manufacturer. We are located in Hemlock, Michigan.

We are looking to fill the position of a Structural Steel Detailer in our Engineering Dept.

Min. Education: Associates Degree, prefer Bachelor's level, but will consider experience.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Drawing steel shapes to create NC files

Ability to read and understand prints

Ability to learn company processes, such as creating cut lists, shippers etc.

Critical thinking for design. 3D Cad (Advanced Steel) knowledge is required.

DXF files for Plasma table.

Ability to communicate and work with other departments and engineering firms.

Candidate will be prompt, organized, quick learner.

Knowledge of PC’s is required

Looking for full time

Must be on time, dependable and motivated to work.

M-Thurs. 7AM -4:30PM

Fri 7AM – Noon
