OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

POSITION OVERVIEW: Provides services to home care clients in accordance with the Plan of Care. Services are provided under the direction of the attending physician with participation of the family and other members of the interdisciplinary team, as indicated.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Graduated after successful completion of an occupation therapist education program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association, Inc. (AOTA), or successor organizations of ACOTE.

2. Eligibility to take, or has successful completion of the entry-level certification examination for occupational therapists developed and administered by the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc. (NBCTOT).

3. Current license from the Guam Board of Licensure.

4. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a health care facility or equivalent experience.

5. Knowledgeable in the principles and practice of Occupational Therapy.

6. CPR certification.

7. Strong verbal and written communication skills and good interpersonal skills.

8. Current driver’s license, safe driving record, and reliable transportation.
