Turner Memorial is an established funeral supply company seeking a professional individual experienced in order taking/processing with excellent customer service skills to join our team in a full-time capacity.
This is an in-office position. Please do not apply for this position if you do not have a minimum of 5 years experience in a fast-paced professional office setting.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, monitoring email and fax requests in a timely manner, write up orders including all pertinent details for customized products, researching/answering customer inquiries, problem solving, communicating and developing strong rapport with internal staff, clients and vendors, filing paperwork, putting away inventory when it arrives, packing and shipping stock items and working with our sales team to create the most personal experience for our clients as possible.
Ability to learn new computer systems & work closely with the sales team on orders and projects is required.
Required Skills:
Order processing and/or customer service experience in an office setting
Strong attention to detail
Excellent written and oral communications
Ability to multi-task and switch gears quickly throughout the day without losing the details
A self-starter with the ability to work independently when required
Team player – ability to follow protocol and procedures as outlined
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with QuickBooks (preferable but not required)
Previous experience multitasking in a fast-paced customer service or order processing environment
A positive attitude and excellent communication skills are essential

Job Duties:
Monitor customer service email and write up all orders
Follow-up with customers as needed
Collaborate with management team to stay updated on new products, services, and policies
Record customer information within our customer service database
Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns
Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company's customer service policies
