Optometric Assistant

Full or part time Optometric Assistant needed, job available immediately Experience as a medical technician, optometric technician, or medical front desk preferred, but not required. Position is split between our River Falls and Hudson locations. Typical shifts are 7-5, 8-6, or 9-7. Must be available to work posted business hours to apply. Duties include preliminary testing for Doctors, ordering and assisting patients with contacts lenses, making and confirming appointments, taking payments, invoicing/light book-keeping, filing, maintaining a sanitary and safe workplace, scanning, answering phones, and using our electronic health record software. Our ideal candidate comes eager to work, works well with others, learns quickly, has competent computer skills, has excellent people skills, is efficient, kind, and reliable.
