SAP Functional Testing Lead.

POSITION SUMMARYContingent headcount is needed to support the overall testing efforts of the RISE ERP Accounting Systems Business Group’s Testing Factory for TMCC’s Project R!SE (ERP Replacement) implementing SAP and down-stream impacts to HFM, the consolidation and reporting system.

Project summaryPeopleSoft is the current application supporting the General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Accounts Payable. The company is replacing its PeopleSoft GL, AP, and Fixed Assets with the respective

SAP modules. Additionally, we are implementing the AR module for “Other Receivables”. The implementation requires 100+ interfaces from our source systems for use in the various modules. We are working in an Agile methodology, which requires ongoing regression testing for all completed interfaces, until Go- The Live. To accomplish this effort the SAP Project Accounting Business’ Team is establishing a “Quality Assurance Testing Factory”.This resource will be the SAP Functional Testing Lead for the SAP Project Accounting Business’ Team “Quality Assurance Testing Factory”, working in an Agile methodology. This Testing Lead will be responsible for leading the team, and as applicable the SAP Project Business Accounting team, by training the team on writing test scripts, in writing all test scripts, coordinating testing data sets, managing the testing schedule, resolving defects, allocating resources and managing workload, and overseeing quality assurance. This person will be responsible for developing various tests scripts for manual testing of SAP FI-AP, FI AR, FI GL, Fixed Assets, Inbound and Outbound interfaces, Workflow and Reports, and once automated with WorkSoft (Automation software tool), creation of regression testing and identifying defects.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • General Accounting and/or Financial Reporting Experience
  • SAP or ERP Implementation Experience
  • Strong background in executing SIT and UAT in a high-volume scenario.
  • Ability to lead/manage the testing schedule and resources on the team
  • Experience writing various test scripts (functional, user acceptance, integration, positive/negative, interface, regression, etc.)
  • Good communication skills, ability to work collaboratively and be an ally to the business, working with vendors, IT, stakeholders, and other team members.
  • Ability to conduct and lead daily status review meetings and report to Project Leadership Team
  • Exposure in Project Planning , Estimation and Scheduling
  • Must be able to work independently

Preferred/ Nice-to-haves:
  • Consulting experience
  • Agile/Scrum methodology experience
  • Understanding of HP Quality Center Reporting , User Administration, Quality Assurance and Reporting.
  • Experience with WorkSoft Testing Automation Tool
