ResponsibilitiesAs a member of the data warehouse team (DTW) will work with the customer and other stakeholders to understand the current technical environment and support the customer in the development of a data warehouse. Will be responsible for performing and documenting technical tasks in support of this effort. Will perform ETL job development, data modeling, and data architecture -related tasks. Will use expertise and best practice knowledge in developing the approach and actual development to meet the technical requirements. Will work in conjunction with and under direction from the customer.Will significantly contribute to a data warehouse environment that allows the customer to track high level information and associations on sites, facilities, and locations over time. As a data warehouse professional on the DTW team the scope of work for this position includes, but is not limited to, designing SQL database, building SQL Data Quality Services processes, loading data into the data warehouse and developing reports on the data. Work includes: (1) SQL database design, (2) building a load process for a spreadsheet template from a variety of data sources and formats to include from network drives in Microsoft Access or Excel formats, (3) design and build load functionality for data, such that any source data in the template will be able to be loaded, (4) ensuring data loaded into the master table meets established standards (e.g. Corporation = Corp, ) and has validate or complete data to load, (5) develop a matching algorithms in order to combine data from multiple systems, (6) create a process that scores the likelihood of a match based on factors such as name, address, city, and zip, (7) build a mechanism to manually fix data, (8) evaluate and update data that isn't merged or loaded in order to pass the matching process, (9) develop a mechanism to make data fixes and reprocess the data, (10) build other transformation and load jobs, (11) build sequence and scheduler routines, (12) create a query and reporting interface using Power BI and other tools, (13) create a change data mechanism or interface to update data as errors that are found in the customer data warehouse, (14) design and develop audit / history tracking to track changes to data and see history of changes at sites or interests
