Requisition Number: 202100662 Cox Automotive is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to lead a team that assesses software quality, performance and security through manual and automated testing. PRIMARY DUTIES/KEY RESPONSIBILITES
  • Supervise the development and execution of test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated).
  • Work with development teams to write and approve acceptance criteria as part of the agile software development process
  • Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practices.
  • Mentor junior QA team members and teach them test design best practices and principles
  • Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
  • Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally.
  • Create automation tests and frameworks using a behavioral testing framework like Cypress, JBehave, Selenium WebDriver or something similar
  • Work with Product Management to define acceptance criteria for agile stories
  • Be a resource for software development teams to help them develop tests during the scrum sprint.

Qualifications:TECHNICAL/FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
  • Testing framework like Cypress, JBehave, Selenium WebDriver or something similar
  • Integrate to back-end host systems via, SOAP and REST based Web Services
  • Execute all levels of testing (Functional, Integration and Regression)
  • Create, execute, and report on both manual and automation tests
  • Experience developing automation frameworks
  • Knowledge for SQL and scripting preferred
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira )
Education, experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years; or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
  • Experience with Agile methodology
