Core Responsibilities:
  • Writing System Integration Tests cases against System Architecture Requirements Specifications using Functional
  • Safety Test techniques
  • Execute test cases per the test specification
  • Automation of Test cases using automation test frame
  • Perform tasks assigned by the team lead or Supervisor.
  • Working with Internally developed tools
  • Support debugging and building of our internal tools
  • Support Environmental level testing and Set-up
  • Help in acquiring appropriate tools
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues using test set-up and make hardware changes as needed
  • Perform software updates on DUT (Devices Under Test) as needed
  • Perform ECU test activities at bench and vehicle level and provide results to stake holders for review
  • Document internal/customer issues and engage the appropriate team
  • Support other discipline team when issues arise and additional support as needed
  • Assistance with other tasks as needed and determined by Management.
  • Project planning documents (engineering portion)
  • Project Plan, Schedule, CM Plan
  • Managing Risk/Action List / Meeting Minutes

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience on writing test scenarios based on ISO 26262 functional safety test techniques
  • Minimum 2 years of test automation scripting (e.g. Python, C etc)
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience with Automotive Electronic/Electromechanical Products
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience with automotive protocols e.g. CAN, LIN, xCP etc.
  • Working experience on automotive diagnostics protocols like UDS, KWP 2000 etc.
  • Working experience on Vector or similar tools for testing
  • Knowledge on Architecture design tools
  • Good communication skills within the team, internal & external customers a must
  • Working experience on Software and Hardware modifications needed for testing
  • Able to read hardware schematics
  • Knowledge on use of Debuggers
  • Must be willing to travel domestic/international locations to support internal and external customers and vehicle tests
  • Able to work in a regional and global team environment and be flexible with changing priorities
  • Able to multitask to meet project timing (time management skills)
  • Proficient with Vector and automation test Tools
  • Work independently with little to no supervision to meet tight deadlines
  • Logical problem solver; good attention to detail
  • Proficient in English oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Engineering degree in Electrical or Electronics and Communication
  • Working experience on test automation for automotive Electronic Controller Units
  • Expert in C or any other scripting language
  • Minimum of 2 years of working experience on Camera and Radar technologies

Work experience:
  • Minimum 2 - 5 years
  • Preferred 5 - 7 years
