Job Introduction

G&C Excavators, Inc. is looking for a Bid Administrator to support our estimating department. The Bid Administrator is responsible for assembling all necessary information required to submit a responsive bid as well as assisting team members in all areas of the estimating process.

Role Responsibility

Assures the day-to-day functions of bid administration are completed to support corporate bidding efforts. This includes creating and sending RFQ's to vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing.

Work closely with estimators, vendors, and subcontractors to assemble bids.

Assures the timely and accurate receipt of bids and maintains vendor quote files by utilizing our paperless process.

Builds and develops relationships with current key suppliers as well as identifies and develops new suppliers.

Be able to communicate technical details of plans and specifications to estimators, vendors, and subcontractors.

Additional Directives

Upon management direction, additional performances will be required. These items may include but

not limited to:

Printing, gathering, and job file maintenance

Aid estimating in locating and pricing sub‐contractors, vendors, suppliers, equipment suppliers, and others to bid on future projects

Errands / Local Deliveries

Copying / Printing

Typical office duties

Well versed in common office software such as Outlook and Excel
