Hiring Experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper
The Full-Charge Bookkeeper is solely responsible for all aspects of full-cycle bookkeeping for the company, which requires an ability to juggle several organizational tasks at once. The responsibilities include managing all aspects of general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable, as well as handling payroll information, credit card statements, cash flow, inventory and may also be called upon for various other miscellaneous duties.
Must have experience with payroll, financial statements, bank reconciliation, and general bookkeeping. At least an Associate's degree in accounting, or business is preferred. Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, is essential.
The subject areas over which the Full-Charge Bookkeeper has responsibility are as follows:
Record and pay accounts payable
Issue invoices to and collect from customers
Calculate pay and issue payments to employees
Create financial statements and related financial reports
Remit payroll taxes, sales taxes, use taxes, and income taxes
Account for fixed assets
Reconcile bank accounts and petty cash accounts
Collect information as needed for the annual audit
Maintain a coherent system of accounts, with a supporting filing system
Monitor cash levels
