Diesel Mechanic needed for small trucking co. Must be able to work on 18 wheelers and trailers as
well as gasoline and diesel equipment. Must have own tools. Send phone #, experience and salary requirements and someone will contact you. Must be able to work at least one weekend day. Hourly schedule is flexible.

Able to rebuild cummins and detroit diesel engines.
Responsible for performing preventive maintenance and other repairs of all assigned vehicles.
Establish and maintain preventive maintenance schedule and keep an updated file of completed work on each district vehicle.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of five years mechanic experience working in a diesel engine/tractor repair facility
Working knowledge of the standard practices and tools of the diesel mechanic trade
Working knowledge of the operation principles of diesel engines
Thorough knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade
Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions
Ability to meet and work with people in a positive and helpful manner
Use of diesel diagnostic equipment, wheel balancing equipment, tire repairing equipment, small hand tools, drills, grinder, air-powered tools, welding torch, torque wrench, jacks and lift equipment, school bus and district vehicles
Salary commensurate with education and experience
