The Loretto Home is seeking a dedicated, experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to join our team! As our DON, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, budgeting, directing and controlling the accomplishments of both short- and long-term nursing service objectives. Our DON functions both as a resident care advocate and nursing advocate, including mentoring/coaching team members. Our DON interacts with residents, resident families, POA's, other health facilities and the nursing staff. Success in this position requires superior communication and supervisory skills, excellent nursing skills and focused attention to detail and deadlines.
Qualifications we need:
Supervisory experience
Prior DON experience a plus
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Current RN or LPN license
5 years nursing experience
Willingness to promote the mission, vision, and values of the Loretto Home
