Looking for Logistics Dispatchers WITH Experience!

Job Summary:

- Dispatching drivers for pickups and deliveries

- Monitor and track driver activity - ensure loads are picked up and delivered on time

- Updating system with load info

- Reporting detentions and any other issues that arise immediately

- Work with 3PL's and shippers

- Booking loads / negotiating rates

- Customer service - answering phones / emails with tracking updates

- Build relationships with drivers and coworkers

Qualifications include:

- At least (1) year previous experience/background in freight management and dispatching semi truck drivers

- Preferably have an existing customer base and relationships with customers.

- Previous knowledge of freight movement

- Excellent communication, leadership skills and negotiation skills

- Ability to multitask

- Team player
