ACCOUNTANT/BOOKKEEPER (THIRD-PARTY FIRM FOR RESTAURANTS)

The Bookkeeper is passionate about accounting. In this world of remote working, this person must hit the ground running and be productive with little guidance. We are an outsourced accounting firm for restaurants.

Work includes:

Entry of accounting information to the general ledger

Prepares or assists with monthly financial packages

Team player and customer-service focused

Active problem solver – identifies problem and fixes or recommends solutions

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Deep understanding of accounting, debits/credits, journal entries, reconciliations

Well-versed in QuickBooks (both Desktop and Online)

Very proficient with MS Excel and Google Suite, Adobe Reader/Writer

Highly detail-oriented, organized in work and good follow-up skills

Ability to consistently meet assigned deadlines

Maintains professionalism in all verbal and written communications

Ensures that a strict level of confidentiality is always in place

Ability to act and operate independently

Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with employees, clients and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving and results

Experience in the retail/ hospitality industry and multi-locations preferred

Salary depends on experience and qualifications but is projected to be in the range of $15-$17 per hour based on experience. Applicants must be willing to work full-time. We are an equal opportunity employer.

At least for the first few weeks, the candidate should expect to be on site for training, understanding of our work flows, etc. As all become more comfortable in your role, remote working is an option.
