HelloFresh is hiring a Production Control Specialist in Richmond, CA!

Reporting into the Planning and Materials Manager, the Production Specialist is responsible for running the pyramid system. Pyramid is the program which organizes, sorts, and prints shipping labels for each Hello Fresh box.

You will

Acts as a Pyramid expert on the floor, and is responsible for translating the production schedule (also known as the assembly tracker) into specific configurations in Pyramid.

Work closely with Production and Shipping leadership to ensure proper sequencing of orders is being run.

Promptly reports any production issues or concerns regarding the assembly tracker to the Planning and Materials Manager.

Maintain stock of printed Kit labels by Recipe

Print and sort any reprint or remake labels in the label room

Monitor inventory of all Pyramid and label supplies and report inventory levels to Planning and Materials Manager daily.

Escalate any and all issues with Pyramid or Pyramid printers to automation team

Escalate any and all issues with label printers or label software to corporate label team

Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the Quality Assurance and/or Supervisor.

Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.

Completes tasks as directed by with minimum supervision.

Respectfully support and follow direction from all managers and supervisors.

Be proficient in the Ops Manager tool ensuring all boxes are complete on each wave in pyramid and Ops Manager.

Print out and distribute partial waves stranded in Ops manager. All stranded labels must be printed and run before the last carrier trailer departs.

You have…

High school diploma or GED equivalent

2+ years of related experience required

Leadership qualities and results driven mentality

The ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing in English, effectively and professionally with employees at all levels of the organization.

Time management and ability to prioritize effectively

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

Legible handwriting

You must…

Be at least 18 years old

Be able to read, write and speak English

Be able to express ideas and thoughts clearly with tact and diplomacy

Be able to lead a large group of employees and keep on task to meet goals and deadlines

Be comfortable in a manufacturing/warehouse/assembly environment and is regularly exposed to cool and/or cold temperatures (10º - 40º).

Be willing and able to work entire schedule as we cannot accommodate partial shifts or early/late arrivals.

Be open to overtime. Some overtime may be needed depending upon weekly orders and weekend work may be required depending on scheduling.

Be able to count and have basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and fractions).

Have basic computer skills, i.e. Microsoft Office, Google Sheets

Regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, reach and lift while performing duties of this job

Have the ability to move quickly and operate in a fast-paced assembly environment

Have vision ability required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision
