Sports Construction Specialist

Position Title: Sports Construction Specialist

Reports To: Sports Construction Project Leader

Job Summary: One who has achieved a thorough understanding of how installation, repair, and maintenance services are executed for residential and commercial clients for their recreation, leisure, or sports facility needs. Typical projects include tennis court fencing, court resurfacing, putting greens, basketball hoop installations, batting cages, and other walkways or recreational space amenities.

Your focus is on the installation process itself and knowing or being able to figure out each little detail that you come across. You are the person the Foreman looks to; to make sure all the tricky, complicated areas in the installation process are done the right way. A very important skill that you possess is the ability to visualize things in different ways and decide which will work best.

Your input will be very important for team problem solving!

Responsibilities & Requirements:

MUST have a clean criminal background check.

Able to lift 100+lbs.

Able to work in outdoor conditions.

Able to work long days, flexibly on weekends.

Good communication skills.

Valid driver's license and able transportation to get to and from work (required).

High School diploma.

Preferred Experience:

Special consideration for candidates with experience in recreational court resurfacing.

1+ years of experience in landscaping, concrete, framing, or other general construction fields.

1+years of artificial turf installation, sod installation, irrigation, and/or paver installation experience.

1+ years in court painting, resurfacing, and other tennis/basketball court repair.

1+ years in a basketball hoop and other sports equipment installation experience.
