LANDSCAPE CREW LEADERS AND LABORERS (M/F)

Christensen Landscape Services is an established full-service landscape design-build company serving Middlesex, New Haven and Fairfield counties and is currently seeking individuals interested in full and part time positions in our Maintenance, Construction and Mowing divisions. We design, build, install and, maintain premiere high end residential landscape projects along the Connecticut Shoreline.

We are looking for experienced, responsible, hardworking individuals to join our Maintenance Division. Foreman must have time management skills and the ability to organize and lead at 3-5 person crew. Candidates must have working knowledge of all landscape management practices including planting; pruning, weeding, mulching and plant health care. Foreman must be able to Identify trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals/container materials. Foreman should have general knowledge and understanding of Integrated Pest Management with the ability to recognize insects and diseases and report to Maintenance Managers. All applicants must work efficiently to maintain high quality landscapes with superior care and attention to detail. All applicants must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs. Pesticide operator license is preferred but not required. Bilingual is a plus.

Experience: Foreman; Horticulture degree (or comparable), Master Gardener or 5 years experience, Laborers; 3-5 years experience.
