Searching for qualified candidates to join our team in our Washington, DC restaurant. Located in the Union Market neighborhood, St. Anselm is an American tavern devoted to the pleasures of grilled meats and great ingredients simply cooked. The second outpost of Joe Carroll’s popular NYC restaurant aims to bring some of the laid-back vibes of Brooklyn to Washington, DC.

Qualified Servers will have:Joyful, outgoing, guest-centric individuals who have a passion for great food and wine

1+ years experience as server in a well rated restaurant

A mid to excellent understanding of wine varietals, beer, and classic cocktails

Experience using a POS system

Ability to articulate menu selections and options, while recommending items when possible

Qualified Bartenders will have:2-3 years experience as bartender in a well rated restaurant or craft cocktail bar

An excellent understanding of wine varietals, beer, and classic cocktails

Experience using a POS system

Knowledgeable about specialty aged spirits and wines is a big plus+

Warm and inviting personality, with an ability to make guests feel at home
