Job Description

The Dental Offsite Coordinator organizes and helps implement Dental services at community events, schools, and health fairs. This includes communicating with schools and Salud staff to schedule dates that Salud will be onsite, setting up key meetings with Salud and offsite service partners, coordinating the mobile equipment, providing support to the Dental Outreach Committee, expediting any necessary troubleshooting for offsite programs, and help manage data presented to offsite service partners following delivery of dental services. The administrative and operational support the Dental Offsite Coordinator provides will lead to increased access to existing and potential patients to Salud programs and services and more effective out-of-clinic programming.

  • Starting Hourly Rate$17.01 to $19.57
  • 5 day work week – Monday to Friday – 8am to 5pm

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficient in applications including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Adobe, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Sensitivity to low-income and ethnic minority community a must.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Education:

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent is required.

Experience:

  • Previous dental assistant experience preferred, but not required.
  • Previous experience and familiarity with executing school health programs is preferred, but not required.

Environmental Conditions:

  • Normal Dental office environment, various offsite locations

Licensure/Certification:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Dental Assistant Certification recommended

Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers from one of the following organizations:

a. American Heart Association;

b. American Safety and Health Institute; or

c. American Red Cross.
