Job Description
Brandfolder is looking for an experienced Data Scientist to help guide analysis, create insights, and influence decisions across our Marketing organization. You are curious, have strong data analysis skills and the ability to communicate key insights effectively. You will work closely with the demand gen, product marketing, and marketing operations teams to help make sense of a variety of data inputs.
This full-time position reports to the Head of Marketing and is ideally based in Denver, CO at Brandfolder’s HQ.Base salary range for this role to be between $84,640 and $103,960. In addition, this role will be eligible for a market competitive annual bonus and RSU stock grant upon accepted offer.Here’s a little more on what we’re seeking:
What You’ll Do
Help the marketing team answer questions like: which channels are performing best, if we increase budget by X amount what will that lead to and when, which segments are most profitable etc
Identify and implement actionable marketing dashboards to help produce accurate and timely reporting
Manipulate data sets from various marketing and sales sources to draw actionable insights
Analyze performance of marketing campaigns and build accurate models to predict future performance and make sense of our customers
Partner with marketing teams, understand their goals, and execute on opportunities to draw relevant insights and drive tangible impact
Translate business questions into quantitative questions and hypotheses that can be answered using the data available
Complete the full analytics lifecycle from understanding the business objective and understanding the data to developing automated reporting and visualizations
Mine large datasets to unlock business opportunities
Effectively present analysis to teams and give data-based recommendations to encourage data-driven decisions
Qualifications
BA/BS in Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Physics, or other technical field.
4+ years of professional experience in quantitative analysis, preferably in marketing organizations
Experience partnering with teams, solving problems, and driving execution
Experience building and maintaining accurate predictive models such as lead scoring or marketing mix modeling
Experience communicating analysis clearly to others
Experience in statistics and implementing different modeling techniques (ex. regression, time series, clustering, decision trees)
Experience with data programming languages and visualization tools (ex. SQL/R/Python, Tableau)
Ability to research and learn new technologies, tools, and platforms
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, find opportunities and execute autonomously
Communication skills to distill data and present insights to the team
Knowledge of Salesforce, Google Analytics a plus
