Vegetable Crew Member

We manage 25 acres of organic vegetables for distribution to a 200+ member CSA, wholesale markets and restaurants, and farmers markets. We are one department on a 'full diet' 650 acre diverse organic farm, and with a myriad of native tongues among our staff including French, Swahili, Arabic, Spanish, Russian, and German, our farm proudly reflects the strength of cultural and agricultural diversity.

Our work requires passion, precision, speed, and great stamina. Much of our crew will log 45+ rigorous hours in 5 days and then head off to hike, ride bikes, or build houses in their time off.

Successful candidates will have experience or a strong interest in agriculture/local food, and a proven work history in physically demanding positions. Special consideration will be given to those with pertinent advanced education and/or a career mindset. Experience operating tractors or other large machinery is always a plus.

Management/leadership roles will become available towards the beginning of the 2019 season, and as we always prefer to promote from within, we'd really like to see strong retained employees move into those vacancies. Pay is commensurate with experience and performance.
