Position Summary: Our client is looking for a QA Engineer that will participate in all aspects of quality assurance including test planning, test execution, defect tracking, defect resolution, collection and reporting of key metrics, and applying industry best practices. Responsibilities- Test all aspects of Marketplace and ensure high quality- Work with analysts, architects and developers to collect requirements and understanding needed for testing- Work with project manager to estimate and track test activities- Create comprehensive test plan and test cases/scenarios- Setup test environment and data- Automate reusable test plans and contribute to test suites/data repository for new functionality and regression testing- Manage and track defect creation and resolution- Monitor and report daily and weekly testing status Qualifications - 10+ experience in a quality assurance and testing role- Strong knowledge of development and testing methodologies- Good understanding of web applications, API and system architecture- Proven ability to work under pressure and in a changing environment- Experience soliciting information- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (ClearQuest, Test Director and other)- Experience with test automation tools- General experience estimating resource and work planning- Understanding of REST web services, HTML, JavaScript and CSS preferred- Experience with continues integration and testing
