Job Details:

Title: Human Resources Assistant

Location: Manhattan Beach, CA

Duration: 6 Months

Roles & Responsibilities:) Support COVID tracking for employees at the Space Park Site) Help provide metrics on current caseload) Notification of close contacts during and after office hours including weekends) Assisting in tracking HR metrics) Follow-up with COVID issues) Partner with HR leadership to understand business issues and work to help develop solutions to support HR business objectives) Support HRBPs on human resource matters and issue resolution through a partnership with key stakeholders such as the Crisis Management Team, HR Service Center, HR Centers of Excellence, and HR Business Partners) Assist with employee communication initiatives; updating records; managing, tracking, processing, and compiling sensitive and confidential data) Assist leaders and employees in interpreting HR policies and procedures) Support HR team including:) Support COVID related tracking, metrics, and close contact notifications) Preparation of presentations) Run HR System database queries, metrics and report development) HR projects and event coordination) Analytical thinker and ability to prioritize and multi-task) Ability to work independently, be a team player, customer-oriented, self-motivated, and take initiative) Ability to interface at all levels of the organization and work within a diverse organization) Ability to manage competing demands and to deliver quality work) Customer-focused skill sets

Basic Qualification:) High School Diploma/GED ) Minimum of 4 years of experience in an administrative role ) Advanced proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and particularly Excel) i.e. pivot tables, macros, V-Lookups, charts, etc.) Experience working in an HR department) Available to work a non-standard workweek or second shift) The hours will ideally be 4-9 ish and then some weekend hours. The manager can be very flexible with the right candidate

Preferred Qualification:) A.S. Degree with 4 years of experience in an HR role within a large HR matrixes organization or BS degree in a related field with 2 years of experience) Prior HR internship experience supporting multiple stakeholder groups
