Optician

The Friske Optometric Center is looking for an energetic individual that has a flare for style and likes to help people feel good about themselves, as well as see their best. You'll be helping our patients choose the right glasses for them based on their personal style, life style needs prescription and more. The roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Frame and lens selections.

Trouble shooting prescription issues.

Final inspection and dispensing of eyewear.

Help maintain inventory and insure the dispensary is clean and organized.

Authorizing patient insurance benefits prior to appointments.

Ordering product and insurance billing.

Assis with answering phone and scheduling patients.

Training patients on insertion, removal, and care of contact lenses.

Other duties as requested by the doctor.

This is a cross-trained position and candidates need to be able to multi-task effectively. Candidates must be available to work Tuesday-Friday 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and Saturday 8:00 a.m. to noon. The office is closed Sundays and Mondays.
