Web Application Developer

Client is looking for an experienced Web Application Developer who is highly motivated to work with our small team in enhancing our systems. This is a full time position working out of our Marietta administrative building. The selected candidate will be responsible for technical design, development, testing and maintenance of all aspects of the company’s operational systems. As a Web Application Developer, you will be expected to help build our internal support tools and systems to help us streamline our systems while executing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Create and maintain internal tools and reporting systems to support our operations
• Design and implementation front-end designs and user interactions
• Maintain and support existing platform and end-users
• Work closely with the rest of the team to bring new features into production
• Support a team environment by assisting other departments as needed

• Bachelor’s Degree minimum. Master's in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Computer Engineering is preferred
• 3+ years’ experience in PHP and MySQL development required
• Familiarity with Debian Linux preferred
• AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, XML and web services experience a bonus
• Experience with Source-Code-Management Systems such as Git
• Object-Oriented development experience
• Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively in order to meet project deadlines with an attention to detail and strong interpersonal, communication, training and organizational skills required, as is the ability to work effectively in a team
