Complaint Analyst (semi-remote)

- The Complaint Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Complaint Handling team in the initial documentation and investigation of complaints.
- Initiate the Complaint Record by capturing initial data from complaints intake on the record.
- Document investigation activities posted in Salesforce into the Complaint Record.
- Support the investigation of complaints in compliance with company procedures using designated databases.
- Work under minimum supervision and use discretion to determine own work priorities.
- Pre-screen service activities to determine if the activity is due to a customer complaint.
- Notify the Lead Complaint Handler of any potentially reportable complaints in a timely manner.
- Ensure appropriate problem codes and complaint codes are assigned to allow precise trending for data analysis purposes.
- Interpret, adapt, and explain information received from customer-facing employees.
- Demonstrate a good judgment in selecting methods and techniques to acquire information to arrive at conclusions.
- Maintain accurate and clear records.
- Support complaint trending, as requested.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) with 5+ years of experience as a Complaint Investigator/Analyst in the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical industry.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in a Technical, Engineering, Medical, Life Sciences or related field with 2+ years of experience as a Complaint Investigator/Analyst.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgment.
- Ability to use databases and prepare documents.
- Strong experience of using Excel and/or Google Sheets.
- Must be detail oriented with strong written, verbal, interpersonal, computer, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
