CloudQ is looking for Lead/ Senior Java Cloud for our client Role: Lead/ Senior Java CloudLocation: Remote (Client Location: Atlanta, GA)Duration: 12+ Months contract Description:Client is looking for Java Cloud Tech Lead to build end to end business solutions and to work with oneof the leading financial services organization in the US. The ideal candidate must possess strong backgroundof Java & Google Cloud Platform/Cloud/ - Experience in developing cloud-native applications, frontend and backenddevelopment technologies and strong in database queries, optimization and troubleshooting. The candidatemust possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively withdomain experts and technical experts in the team. The candidate must have experience in analysis, design,development, maintenance and support activitiesResponsibilities:· Maintain active relationships with Product Owner and Business Users to understand businessrequirements, lead requirement gathering meetings and review designs with the product owner and businessowners.· Be Responsible for prototyping, developing, and troubleshooting software in the user interface or servicelayers· Perform peer reviews on source code to ensure reuse, scalability and the use of best practices· Participate in collaborative technical discussions that focus on software user experience, design,architecture, and development· Perform demonstrations for client stakeholders on project features and sub features, which utilizes thelatest Front end and Backend development technologiesModify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve itsperformance.Perform production support, troubleshoot production issues, analyze the root cause of the issues andfix them.Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and costconstraints.Confer with other systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design system and toobtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements.Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models topredict and measure outcome and consequences of design.Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, anddocumentation.Conduct technical reviews with other programmers, technologists and technicians and otherengineering and scientific personnel.Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specificationsare met.Consult with customers about software system design and maintenance.Report any issues with the client stakeholders and UST leadershipRequirements:· Minimum 5+ Years’ experience in Application design space or at least hands-on with 3 applicationdesign using Java & cloud technologies preferable Google Cloud Platform· 8 plus years of experience on Java application development· 2 plus years of experience in Tech Lead role leading a team· Prior experience working in Onsite-Offshore model· 6 plus years of experience in designing and developing Java/J2EE applications using frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring XD and Hibernate· Strong experience with front-end UI technologies, i.e. JavaScript, React, AngularJS, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, HTML, CSS· Knowledge of Postgres/ Oracle / MySQL / NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, Neo4J)· Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins· DevOps experience and a solid understanding of the CI/CD concepts and experience in continuousintegration build tools (Jenkins, SonarQube, JIRA, Nexus, Confluence, GIT-BitBucket, Maven, Gradle,RunDeck, is a plus)· Experience on creating application design, database design, data flow diagram & Infrastructure set upusing Google Cloud / AWS· Analyzing non-functional requirements to inform application design· Identifying technical risk and conducting mitigation action planning· Ability to resolve technical issues identified by team and be an enabler to deliver planned work as perrelease plan· Strong programming skills in designing and building backend applications with REST API services· Strong programming skills in designing and implementation of multi-tier applications using web-basedtechnologies like Spring Boot· Good knowledge on Spring Core such as Dependency Injection, Annotations· Extensively worked on Spring JDBC, Spring Hibernate ORM and JPA· Reviewing the work of other developers and providing feedback· Using coding standards and best practices to ensure quality· Excellent analytical skills· Exceptional communication skills· Extensive understanding of BDD/TDD practices, code review and analysis techniques, and open sourceagile testing frameworks.
