Hi, Greetings from conch technologies inc Title: Oracle PL/SQL Developer Location: Michigan/Remote Work Duration: 6 Months with a possible extension Tele/Skype Interview Client Job Description What You Will Do: Create database tables, views, medium to complex stored procedures, triggers and functions utilizing PL/SQL. Fine tune SQL queries and improve the application performance. Analyze and document existing database code. Contribute to problem-solving and/or designs and implement new software applications or programs Coordinate and plan all the tasks required for implementation, operations, and maintenance. Analyze and study system requirements and develop methods for problem-solving by producing flow charts/data flow diagrams and/or associated documents. Document coding best practices. Participate in application testing, revise and refine all necessary documentation. Monitor system errors, diagnoses, and correct errors. Develop pseudo codes, tables, and narrative descriptions to implement changes. Perform out-of-the-box thinking, collaborate with other members of the team. Other duties and projects as assigned. Who You Are: You have a Bachelor's degree with minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience. You have experience in PL/SQL, Object Oriented Analysis and Design, creating database tables, views, medium to complex stored procedures, triggers, and functions. You can tune SQL queries and improve application performance. You have strong knowledge in Oracle databases and concepts. PostgreSQL and Redshift experience a plus. You have experience and knowledge of GITHub version control. You have experience using and working on JIRA. You are organized with analytical and reasoning skills to troubleshoot and solve problems. You can collaborate with a variety of teams. You can execute your tasks promptly within the expected time, without being reminded constantly.
