Bacchanal seeking Food Runner/Host

Since 2002, Bacchanal has become a wine mecca where food, music and culture collide with vino to create unique and magical evenings in New Orleans' Bywater neighborhood.

Currently, we are looking for full-time staff with weekend availability to join our team. This role is a hybrid and the applicant must be able to move between many different positions including food running and hosting. Any knowledge of wine or beverage preparation is a plus but not mandatory.

This is a physical job so the ideal candidate for this position is light on their feet, self starting, and has a variety of skills/interest. Pay is competitive with a starting $10 base wage plus equal share of the tip pool.

Applicants must be able to stand and execute physical labor (lifting up to 30 pounds continuously) in fluctuating temperatures (we go outside rain or shine) for lengthy periods of time with a pleasant and light disposition.

Although we are a limited service eatery, we take hospitality very seriously and expect our staff to have a genuine love of people and working in the industry. Operating with an 'all hands on deck' mentality, there is very little discerning between front of house and back of house and our staff is often called upon to perform a wide variety of tasks from running food, deep cleaning, working off-sites, washing dishes etc.
