Title: Cloud Advisory ConsultantLocation: New Jersey Duration: Full time job What You'll Do In this innovative role, you will work with a team of architects, engineers, analysts and project managers to plan and deliver Cloud-Based transformations for customers. You will collaborate with sales counterparts to drive growth and influence customer decision-making Who You'll Work With Trusted IT advisors will form one of the spearhead initiatives to further Tech Mahindra relevance in this market, and may enable further commercial success for Tech Mahindra. You will work primarily with our team of professionals, our clients, and our partners. This role is primarily focused on delivery of services within the America’s, but we are a global team and you must be capable of working with counterparts across the geographies. You are a diplomatic collaborator within multi-stakeholder client environments, which will include clients, partners. Our Minimum Requirements are as follows: Solid communication and presentation skillsIs comfortable working with a certain level of ambiguityExpectation of up to 50% travelHas an interest in continuous learning in the area of key technologiesExperience in major change initiatives within large organizationExperience as a team member on large projects Skills needed to be successful in this role - Industry experience of 15+ years in IT infrastructure and Cloud technologies. Cloud experience should be 3+ years.
- Must have experience on customer cloud pre-sales responses and projects
- Experience in architecture, design of cloud solutions to address scalability, performance, security, availability, cost transformation requirements
- Hands-on experience on cloud technology (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform), good to have knowledge of more than one cloud provider.
- Good knowledge of cloud security, cost optimization, delivery, operations.
- Should come from infrastructure background and application knowledge.
- Hand-on experience in designing DR, HA, Load balancing, cluster, virtualization.
- AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform architect certification is mandatory.
- Experience in Data Center transformation to Cloud. Re-host, Restructure, re-platform, rebuild.
- Experience in migration of Big Data, Enterprise, Database, 2 tier/multi-tier applications.
- Candidate with understanding of application designs preferred. Exposure to Service-Oriented / Application / Enterprise Architecture. Any software development experience on Web Services, Java/Microsoft Technologies, Python etc. will be added advantage.
- Deep dive (hands-on) experience on one cloud technology (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform) and knowledge of another cloud technology (IBM, VMware,Redhat, Oracle, RackSpace or Openstack).
- Experience in writing cloud automation scripts / code such as Perl, Jason, PowerShell, Terraform etc.
- Good knowledge of application build / release processes CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins and Chef / Puppet
- Strong passion for technology exploration and development.
- Must have good analytical skills.
- Excellent written, verbal communication skills, presentation and collaboration skills
