- Act as requirements project lead for medium to large projects, directing and coordinating requirements project staff and activities.
- Oversee production support of core projects, including gathering and documenting requirements, translating functional requirements to technical requirements, and identifying options.
- Partner with business users and act as a liaison between business and technical teams.
- Coordinates development, testing, and implementation of solutions with vendors.
- Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst with track record of delivering business process requirements and use cases is required.
- Solid understanding of relevant business issues.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, influencing, prioritization, decision- making and conflict resolution skills.
- Manage multiple large, complex and cross functional projects, with emphasis on systems, technologies, business process redesign, and knowledge of technical environments, a background in the financial services industry,
- Showcase experience in the Asset Management industry specifically with Middle Office operations and processes.
- Ability to manage and communicate multiple and changing priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work within a project team to collectively agree on project decisions and action steps.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze/provide technology recommendations to the business.
- Leverage SCRUM Agile experience developing user stories, supplementary requirements, and business rules, as well as the ability to define and document specifications, work with developers to design/analyze alternative technical solutions, test completed code and complete a smooth implementation with the business partners.
- Confidence in presenting to the team and management for both big-picture planning and day-to-day management of project goal.
- 8+ years' relevant experience performing Business Analyst, Project Management and/or Business Systems Analyst functions with 5+ years' experience in the Asset Management industry specifically with Middle Office operations and processes required
- Knowledge of Equity, Fixed Income and Multi-asset products required
- Mutual Fund, ETF, Fund accounting knowledge is required
- Strong knowledge of MS Project, Excel, MS Word and iGraphx or Visio Drawing tools along with general familiarity with Outlook and other MS Office applications required
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, organizational and negotiation skills.
- Solid experience and understanding of Agile Scrum and Rational Unified Process Methodology in developing use cases, use case model, supplementary requirements, and business rules is essential.
- BA/BS degree preferred
- PMP certification preferred
