Title: Desktop Support Location: Madison, Wisconsin Dur: 03/15/2021 to 06/30/2021 Job Description :This position will be part of a 8 member team that provides desktop support services to Department of Health Services staff located across Wisconsin. This position will be physically located in the Milwaukee area. This position will provide expert level technical assistance in support and preparation of desktop supported applications and hardware. It requires extensive knowledge of and experience with desktop technology including, but not limited to, desktop operating systems, desktop applications, desktop hardware, laptop systems, desktop printer support, and other peripherals. This Title receives escalated level support issues from helpdesk and Enterprise Support Center. The ideal candidate has 8 or more years of experience in Desktop Support, is familiar with a variety of the concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Independently performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
