Title: Research Coordinator, Biomaterials

Division: Arthrex, Inc. (US01)

Location: INC- Naples FL (US08)

Main Objective: To coordinate and execute activities that support the maintanence and forward progress of Biomaterials-related studies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Communicate and coordinate external and internal sterilization orders. 2. Communicate with manufacturing engineers to place special build orders. 3. Communicate with Supply Chain in the placement of high-quantity product orders. 4. Place product orders from inventory. 5. Interface with Supplier Quality to place and track vendor orders required for Supplier Proposed Process Change sample requests. 6. Retrieve samples at appropriate time points and execute all steps associated with Quality Control Inspections. 7. Financially reconsile costs and services related to the Biomaterials Team. 8. Maintain payment and renewal of storage facilities associated with long-term studies. 9. Generate purchase requisitions. 10. Create and maintain financial metrics. 11. Create folder structure for commencing studies. 12. Process and organize all certification documentation related to pre-study sample preparation. 13. Be knowledgeable about Arthrex products and surgical techniques, including actively learning about new products and developments. 14. Manage priorities and deliverables for multiple simultaneous projects per determined schedule and respond to special assigned projects as needed. 15. Communicate effectively with engineers, vendors, stakeholders and other departmental personnel using appropriate terminology. 16. Create Power Point slides and presentations to communicate metrics and progress as necessary.

Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent required Associate s degree preferred 1 year relevant experience preferred Experienced in record keeping using excel or other suitable programs Familiarity with orthopedics is advantageous

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training: Good communication, documentation, and record keeping skills are required. Good organization, deductive reasoning and problem solving skills are a plus. A basic ability to think ahead is beneficial.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills: Experience in Microsoft Office is required
