Senior DevOps Architect

Job Description:

• Develop fully automated CI/CD pipelines for applications on different platforms which include .NET, tomcat, Java, Nodejs and Spring boot for repeatable and reliable deployments across various environments.
• Design and develop enterprise DevOps framework incorporating industries best practices and latest standards. Facilitate processes between development and operations. Establish a suitable DevOps channel across the organization. Automate processes with the right Tools.
• Responsible for technical solutioning and designing the integration solution in Azure. Design, develop, and construct detailed cloud architecture. Work with infrastructure and application development team members to include security and compliance standards in solution design. Provide recommendation to optimize cloud hosting cost.
• Understand cloud architecture, cloud computing, networking and storage, Microsoft Azure resources and deploy Azure resources as needed by application teams including virtual machines, databases, load balancer, containers, key vaults, app services, serverless services, virtual private networks, routers, firewalls, NSG, ASG and VNET endpoint connection etc. Support cloud teams in the design and decision-making process to ensure adherence to the best practices. Define role based access control, design Azure active directory management. Establish secure networking and access. Implement large architectures using Azure data platform capabilities like Azure DATA lake, Azure data factory, hdinsight.
• Design and implement end-to-end automation process for migrating/hosting applications on Azure platform using various devops tools include packer, terraform, cloud-INIT, puppet, DSC, powershell, Jenkins and Azure DevOps. Develop terraform modules and azure resource managing templates for standardized lifecycle management of azure resources to achieve DMZ, security, high availability, encryption, geographic scale, and resilience. Setup DR site (active-active & active-stand by).
• Document cloud migration/onboarding approach, service architecture and implementation guides for application teams. Produce technical detailed documents that are tailored to the customers environment, objectives, and requirements.
• Setup monitoring and alerting tools like Azure monitor, App dynamics, Datadog, Nagios, Newrelic and Splunk for application and infrastructure health monitoring.
• Integrate unit tests, determine code coverage, integrate automated functional regression tests, and generate code analysis report. Integrate application and infrastructure security analysis tools like fortify, Veracode and Qualys scan.
• Baseline milestones in SCM. Maintain repository of releasable artifacts. Perform periodic scan of application and infrastructure for any Security vulnerabilities.
• Implement container management solutions and automation. Provision DEV, QA, PERF and PROD environments. Implement containers Orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Automate configuration of large-scale infrastructure using Ansible, CHEF or Puppet.
• Participate in all Agile ceremonies. Strategize preventive actions and fallback actions in case of system down. Provide on call support in Case of alerts notifications receipt.
