Enterprise Data Architect for a fast-paced production environment. Overview:Lead a team of data analytics professionals, in business intelligence and data warehousing. Responsible for creating and developing reliable, scalable data solutions that ensure the timely collection of clean and consistent data. Act as the subject matter expert on new analytic methodologies and implementations.

  • Manage data teams and multiple complex projects; responsible for project work plans which determine the client needs by selecting and applying appropriate approaches, tools and techniques to assess the client’s business
  • Define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management; direct on-time, quality delivery of work products
  • Work directly with IT executive leadership and key data teams to drive and develop an enterprise data warehouse and business intelligence strategy
  • Responsible for IT-compliant and auditable processes for all projects in the department
  • Manage interactions with client teams, staff and executive clients; communicate clearly and consistently on the projects’ overall objectives and activities; work with clients to understand engagement changes implications and facilitate implementation

  • 7+ years of strong implementation experience and deep data management knowledge (master data, metadata, data architecture, data governance, data quality, data modeling) and in managing data management efforts and project teams through all phases of the project lifecycle from scoping and planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and go-live
  • Ability to architect an enterprise data management solution and provide business, governance and technical recommendations
  • Broad system-level expertise across multiple computing platforms and technologies with the ability to influence technology direction at the enterprise level
  • Experience with conceptualization, design and assistance in the implementation of new and existing systems, middleware, master data management, metadata, data quality, data warehouse and production architectures
  • Experience with Agile data warehouse business intelligence working with business users to define user stories, and deliver incremental business value through execution and refinement
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to persuade business users to accept and follow best practices and influence change
  • Strong data development skills, particularly with SQL; highly analytical and quantitative, with strong attention to detail
  • Experience with any of the major business intelligence vendor tools
  • Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred
