QA Lead

Mandatory skills Testing preferably on Opera PMS system Detailed JD 10+ years of experience as a QA engineer Must work in Agile teams for 2+ years Must be able to show strong QA characteristics at all levels Requirements gathering, test methodology, execution, release. Must have excellent communication skills, is comfortable reaching out across teams as needed for clarification, etc. (Candidate will need to represent QA in agile teams) Testing experience of the solutions leveraging cloud(AWS, Opera) and other cloud vendors preferred Shall mean an individual who is responsible for all testing activities for the project. Responsible for test planning, test strategizing, test estimation, test status, summary reporting and contributing to go/no-go decisions. Acts as a first point of contact for any testing related issues/queries. Responsible for review of deliverables from the team, interfacing with project stakeholders (development and business) in facilitating sign-off on all deliverables. Responsible for identifying test data, environment requirements and in coordinating with project stakeholders for timely availability of test data, environment and other test dependencies. Responsible for escalating issues or dependencies to client stakeholders. Proficient in ALM Track and trace all defects management cycle (from defects creation to closure) Own and drive each defect to closure, with urgency and responsibility, by putting each defect through re-test cycles and/or to engage up-/down-stream system owners to enable/facilitate test/re-test to close out all defects. Must be detail oriented
