Monitoring Engineer – IT – Banking - Financial Services Monitoring EngineerPosition Purpose: This Monitoring Engineer position will serve as our day to day technical lead for client Datacenter Migration Project. This role will be responsible for understanding existing monitoring coverage, across multiple tools and platforms, and leading the enhancement of that coverage as we migrate our systems and applications. Monitoring Engineer – IT – Banking - Financial Services Business Description:Responsible for analyzing existing monitoring solutions, understanding the roles of the applications they cover, and configuring, developing, and enhancing those solutions during the Datacenter Migration.Reporting Relationships:Reports To: Principal Monitoring Solutions ArchitectPeers: Software Development Engineer, Monitoring EngineerDirect Reports: None Monitoring Engineer – IT – Banking - Financial Services Essential Job Responsibilities:Lead the migration of our existing monitoring coverage based on the current configurationUnder limited direction, expand and enhance monitoring, alerting, and reporting on our newly migrated platformsParticipate in requirements gathering & scope discussions for applications or platforms being migrated that do not already have effective monitoring coverageAssist in the development, deployment, and refinement of monitoring standardsPerform other related duties as requiredThe above is intended only to describe the general nature of the job and should not be construed as an all-inclusive list of position responsibilities.
