OverviewThe Product Owner will work closely with Product Management and Business Sponsors to collect business requirements and be responsible for overall delivery of product features within two-week sprint releases. You will be responsible for certain key functional areas within GreenSky's product space and will be the go-to person for these areas including defining epics/features and creating the supporting user stories. As a Product Owner, you will understand business needs and priorities at a tactical and a strategic level, providing communication and coordination between the relevant business partners and the agile development team. In addition, you will be responsible for working with internal groups such as Operations, Sales and Finance to ensure deliverable readiness across the GreenSky business. Your role is essential to ensuring that the product value proposition and desired business capabilities are reflected in the features developed to ensure the success of the business endeavor. The Product Owner is the primary product specialist for the development team.Duties & Responsibilities• Define, prioritize and clarify requirements for Product features and enhancements that meet the needs of the GreenSky business and relevant stakeholders with measurable results• Perform detailed System Analysis, Gap Analysis and Create Process flows and other system documentation as needed• Facilitate and conduct Feature definition, Story Grooming and Story Estimation meetings.• Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high level information into appropriate epics and/or features• Provide tactical objectives and prioritization to agile team• Write detailed stories that includes Use Cases to address all scenarios of User/System Interaction• Serve as the key stakeholder in product related decisions during planning, grooming, and development• Possess an in-depth knowledge of goals and desired objectives of the initiatives and features• Help negotiate priorities and to resolve conflicts among project stakeholders• Ensure that the Product Backlog is constantly prioritized to secure delivery of maximum business value• Keep stakeholders apprised of status and solicit their feedback• Collaborate with the Scrum Master to run successful release planning and sprint planning sessions as well as sprint reviews and retrospectives• Accept or reject the delivery team's work results; ensuring development decisions stay aligned with business needs and any issues that arise are addressed as quickly as possible• Ensure product acceptance and readiness at key phases of the delivery cycle• Assist Product Manager and business stakeholders in the development of vendor scorecards for new solution evaluation• Responsible for ensuring that all requirements comply with GreenSky standards and for getting compliance signoff prior to commencement of development.Required Skills/Qualifications• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, information technology or business information systems or related field• Minimum 3 years' experience as an agile product owner or equivalent• Deep experience in requirements elicitation, breaking down requirements, recommending solutions and organizing to deliver• Work experience/Domain Knowledge in Capital Markets preferred but not required• Product Ownership, Agile certifications preferred but not required• Ability to retrieve and analyze data including familiarity with Tableu and Snowflake preferred but not requiredDesired Traits• Ability to focus on the most important outcome at the current moment• Ownership & Drive- ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong follow-through and a focus on owning the outcome• Strong problem solving and solution design skills• Influential and Persuasive-seen as a trusted advisor• Solid understanding of users, the marketplace, competition and of future trends for the domain or type of system being developed• Technical aptitude-programming or similar IT experience a strong plus• Situational and political awareness• Proven ability to clearly define a set of requirements that pinpoint business challenges and identify technical and business changes required to address them.• Unwavering commitment to transparency, accountability, and driving results for yourself and your team members and stakeholdersGreenSky is an equal opportunity employer and will not discriminate against any employee or applicant on the basis of age, color, disability, gender, national origin, race, religion, sexual orientation, veteran status, or any classification protected by federal, state, or local law.
