PCA/CNA NEEDED in COVID FREE apt - NEED to Fill pos ASAP! NO EXP REQ!

If you're a Personal Care Assistant, a CNA, or someone looking to get into home care, than you know these's are scary times to be looking for work! Especially if you've never done in-home care before! Nursing homes & hospitals are all looking for help, but the fact is, they can't provide a safe working environment for their employees Even working for home care agencies in times like these can be extremely dangerous! Not just for you, but for your clients as well, going into different houses, several in the same day!

OK, now that we've got that scary stuff out of the way, let me tell you about a place where you'll be able to come to work without having to worry about catching COVID!

My name is Steve, I'm 39 & I have a disability similar to muscular dystrophy, but it's not degenerative. I'm looking for a reliable person (with OR without PCA/CNA experience) to provide care to me in my home. I'm currently bedbound, see I lost my right leg in a car accident several years ago & up until a few years back, I had spent at least 10-12 hours per day in my electric wheelchair, never letting my disability get in the way of living my life! Then, 2 years ago, one thing led to another (health-wise), leading me to my current situation.

It's with extreme & profound hope that after this whole COVID-19 crap is over, that All The King's Horses & All The King's Men, Will be Able to Put Our Screwed up World Back Together Again See that? I'm a poet & I didn't even know it! ? Anyway, on to the logistics

The hours & days are Fridays, from 10 AM - 6 PM, Saturdays from 7 PM - 12 AM Sundays, from 1 PM - 6 PM, for a grand total of 20 hours! Of course, there are always more hours coming available! If one of my other PCA's calls out sick or needs some scheduled time off, so, you won't always be limited to regular 20 hours per week! In fact, one of my PCA's has a little boy with a rare brain disorder, & has lo ts of upcoming appointments @ Boston Children's Hospital, so extra hours DO & WILL come available often

I've got my own apartment & therefore, I rely 100% on my PCA's in order to thrive independently in the community! That means that if you're my PCA, you must be dependable I know that emergencies come up, but the position is only 3 days per week My PCA's MUST UNDERSTAND that when they call out last min, that I'M STUCK ALONE & HELPLESS until my next PCA comes in for their shift!

? Applicant needs to pass a BCI (criminal background check) which is done upon hire.

? Applicant has to be OK with cigarette/weed smoke, I'm a smoker & I smoke in my bedroom.

I've been trying to fill this position since the Summertime & I only have until the end of Jan, 2021 or I'll lose these hours! If that happens, it will be impossible for me to remain independent, forcing me to forfeit joint custody of my 11-year-old son, EJ so that I can move into a nursing home!

Obviously, I'm not even 40 yet, the last place I want to be or should have to be is a nursing home Keeping that in mind, PLEASE, SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY Also, if you're looking for an 'únder the table situation,' you should try the Kennedy's, out on Cape Cod I hear they pay really well & they're always looking for those types! Unfortunately, I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth, so, Medicaid is the one paying for my home care! Trust me, that's NOT a consolation prize either
